Items you need to take/ send to the embassy

You need prepare the following documents for your E2 visa:


















STEP 5 - Get Your E2 Visa - Ireland


The South Korean embassy is based in Dublin and you must go to the embassy in person to apply for your visa, they don’t accept postal applications. The applications office is only open between 9am – 12pm so if you need to travel to Dublin make sure you leave yourself plenty of time.


Processing time

The processing time is about 5 working days including the day of application.

NOTE: Please make sure you keep us updated on your progress, let us know when you have sent /taken the documents, when they have arrived, when you are expected to receive the E2 working visa and when you actually receive it.

Filling out the visa form

There is a space at the top of the form to write your visa issuance number (this will be sent to you by email). As you can see the boxes are very small but you just have to cram the information in. Follow the instruction on the back of the form.

 


Instructions

The day before you go to the embassy call them to let them know you will be coming and make sure they are open. Be aware that the E2 visa application fee is subject to change so make sure you check the current amount beforehand.

If you wish to have your passport sent back to you when your visa is ready, go to the post office to get a pre-paid special delivery envelope and write your name and address on the front. If you intend to pick up your passport in person there is no need to do this.
