Weather
In the past Koreans were proud to boast of 4 distinct seasons but recently, due to climate,
change spring and autumn are becoming shorter:
Winter is from December to mid-March. It can be extremely cold due to the influx of
Serbian wind with temperatures dropping as low as -15 degrees at night and -5 degrees
during the day. There is heavy snow fall in the north and east of the country making for
great skiing conditions.
Spring is from late March to May and is warm.
Summer is from June to early September. Summer is the rainy season and it is hot and
humid during this time.
Autumn is from late September to November. This is the best season to visit Korea as the
weather is usually dry and cool
